Healthy Tips for Beautiful Living

Okay. So they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty also is in your hands. To eat right and live right. We all have heard of doing these things but sometimes we forget. You can't always look good on the outside to cover up what's on the inside.
  1. Wash your face day and night. In the evening to wash away all the filth and grime of the day. The phone you had next to your skin as well as the pollution in the air all affect your skin. Washing in the morning removes the dirt and grime and grease from your pillow. If allowed to stay on your skin breakouts and dull skin would occur.
  2. Drink plenty of water. Your body is majority water and when you sweat it evaporates. When you use the restroom it leaves. So make sure you replenish your fluids. Water, Milk, and All Natural Juices are good fluid sources but water is best. Water also helps to flush out your system to get rid of toxins living in your system. Don't like the taste of water? Too bland? Try a lemon wedge or cumber slice. Not only will it change the taste of your water but also it will give you the added benefits of the two.
  3. Brushing your teeth. Brush in the morning and at night. So many times we know to do it but put it off til its too late. Brushing helps to remove plague and other grimy creatures from your teeth and breath. Bad breath is not attractive because you forgot to brush and floss.
  4. Are you stressed? Too much to do and not enough time to do it? Bad break up? Stress can cause unwanted illnesses and sometimes even gray hairs before they are due. Taking a daily supplement of Holy Basil, B-Vitamins or Ashwagandha will help you to deal with the situations in your life better.
  5. Too many times we eat take out or don't eat the right things and this is expressed through our skin. No time? When eating out get as many vegetables on your order as possible. Pack an apple, orange, plum or other fruit that travels well for a quick snack and pick me up. These items are better for you than chips or candy. And your body will thank you for it!
  6. Multi-vitamins are our friend. Daily we do not get the correct amount of vitamins and minerals from our food and this is reproduced through our skin and actions. Lack of energy and dull skin are examples of not getting the right amount of nutrition.
  7. ZZZZZZZZZZ. Also known as beauty sleep. It was named this for a reason. Yes you do need the right amount of sleep. Preferably eight hours. While you are sleeping your body is rejuvenating itself from the stress it has been exposed to. Ever see someone with not enough sleep? Bags under their eyes? Dull skin? Tired looking? After a while this takes a negative toll on your body if this trend is repeated frequently. You can start to look beyond your age, your skin will not be as clear and your body will not operate correctly.
  8. Get moving. No time for the gym? Wake up 10 minutes early and do light stretching, walking in place, lunges, push ups, jumping jacks, etc. Park the car a few spots farther than usual to add extra steps. Housework constitutes as exercise if done continually. Studies show you need at least 30 minutes per day of exercise. I applied this method and have dropped a few sizes myself.
